The Cleopatra Re-Imagined series continues with Book Two – CLEOPATRA VICTORIOUS!

Picking up where CLEOPATRA UNCONQUERED (Savant 2015), the prequel, left off, Cleopatra and her lover, Marc Antony have triumphed over their nemesis, Octavian. Antony, as Imperator, or ruler, of Rome, must govern his nation while still presenting it as a Republic, while Cleopatra, as Queen-Pharaoh must govern Egypt while maintaining an uneasy alliance with Rome, tending to her children and building futures for each of them. Caesarion, her son by Julius Caesar, must make a life determining choice: He is deemed best suited to follow in Antony’s footsteps as leader of Rome, but will he, instead, follow Cleopatra and become the next Pharaoh? Cleopatra’s daughter, Selene, who has recently become quite popular in the historical fiction community, will face similarly difficult choices. Will she choose love and queenship of a small African nation, or follow in her mother's footsteps to become the next Queen-Pharaoh of Egypt and quite possibly Empress of an Egypto-Roman Empire? As for Cleopatra's other two sons, currently lost to history, what role will they play in this world?

In Rome, Antony must face those who wish Octavian had lived, as well as those who dislike the "Egyptian harlot," Cleopatra. To the east of Egypt is Herod, troublesome king of Judea. Will he eventually back Antony and Cleopatra, or will he attempt to seize Egypt for himself? What will become of historical figures such as Horace and Virgil in a world where Antony and Cleopatra, not Octavian, rule? And what of Egypt and Rome's powerful bordering kingdoms such as Parthia, now Persia?

Turn to the second book in Savant's Cleopatra Re-Imagined series, CLEOPATRA VICTORIOUS, and explore a world where Antony, Cleopatra, and their children strive to remake the history of the world.
