Hollywood, as I experienced it in the eighties, was already beginning to show it's age. Most of the stars who had made all the great films were either dead, retired, or locked suspended animation somewhere in between. By the time the new "Turks" began taking over, nothing was the same.

In QUANTUM DEATH (Savant 2016), the fifth in my popular Koski and Falk series, I introduced a character named Kate Keenan, an amalgamation of the characters I met at Screenwriter's school at UCLA, whom I leared to love, alongside some of other quirky often "grey" characters, lurking about Hollywood in those days, just before the door creaked closed on that wonderful era. In FINDING KATE (Savant 2016), you'll discover what made Hollywood the greatest cinematic location in the world, while, at the same time, sealing it's fate.

In the prequel to QUANTUM DEATH, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the whole Kate Keenan, a brilliant, strong-willed, research scientist who can more than handle her own in the new age of robots, virtual reality, and instant movie production. Kate will play a major part in some of my subsequent books, sometimes alongside Koski and Falk, sometimes in her own adventures, but always another valued member of the elusive, super-secret agency called Cerebrus.
